Q.      What are the Printed Materials to which you referred earlier?
A.      The Summit System offers two different report presentation packages that our Members use to enclose their completed narrative Inspection Reports for delivery to their clients.  The package of choice is the Report Binder.  These three-ring binders are supplied complete with a twelve-tab set of mylar index tabs, each index sheet is pre-printed on both sides with useful and interesting information for the consumer, as well as supplemental information on water heaters, and where appropriate, cooling systems and lead-based paint.  The Report Binder also includes a three-part Pre-Closing Walk-through form for the client as well as the latest edition of the 160 page Homeowner’s Handbook.  Custom report paper and three-ring binders with company name, logo and choice of colors and layout are available (often at no additional cost) by individual arrangement with the supplier.

The other report presentation package, the Condo Pak, is used where the buyer is not likely to do their own maintenance, as is the case with most condominiums and townhomes, as well as many second homes.  All of the materials in the Condo Pak come pre-punched for coil binding.  The Condo Pak contains divider pages pre-printed with the same text as the index tabs in the Report Binder, and 35 pages of blank, pre-punched report paper.  Obviously, the Condo Paks do not contain the Homeowner’s Handbook, and they do not contain index tabs.  While Summit Systems Licensees are not required, to use either of these packages, many do, as they present a powerful, professional image that has helped all those who use them to grow their businesses.


Q.      Earlier, you mentioned an Internet presence.  What is that?
A.      Each Member is listed on www.summitinspection.net the Summit Systems website, along with their company information, inspector qualifications, services offered, unique features, links to local organizations and any other information that would be helpful to those interested in engaging their services.
